An open source visual identity for the 2.Dh5 festival
2.Dh5 is an annual gathering about political activism in the Netherlands. Goal of the festival is to organize opportunities for sharing knowledge on tactics and strategies to change the world. Workshops and performances vary from very practical (computer skills, how to occupy buildings etc.) to more theoretical and from meetings to performances and films.
For this festival, I designed an illustration-based graphic language, completely put together from bits and pieces out of free fonts and dingbats with a creative commons licence. All designing was done using open source methodology and tools. This also means that all documents are in an open format and available for further editing for participants of 2dh5.
