We received a SIA KIEM-hbo grant (€30.000) for a project in our line of research aimed at designing interventions to support disadvantaged groups in healthy behaviour change.
INVITE aims at developing visual tools for user research in groups with limited (health) literacy. “Classical” survey methods (such as interviews and questionnaires( are not effective enough to map out opinions, knowledge and behaviour of people from disadvantaged groups. In this project, we will develop visual research tools, and test them together with the target group for usability and comprehensibility. Our consortium consists of Hogeschool Utrecht, TU Delft, Pharos, and two design agencies. This project provides directly applicable tools that we will further develop and validate in a follow-up project.
